#1 and #4 apply to anything, including the 3DS so these are kinda mute points.

#2 - Come ons, it takes like 10-30 seconds to pull out your glasses and put them on. You can't be that lazy. :P

#3 - Yes it would still have a slider. What's bad about that?

If it would really cause one so many problems, simply leave the glasses at home, and turn the 3D off. You couldn't have cared that much about the 3D if you're not willing to take some glasses with you. While I care about 3D, I care about being able to play more, so I've no choice but to leave the slider barely up just for that extra vibrance. A much bigger inconvenience it is, having to get interrupted in the middle of a game I'd say.

The problem is that problems #1 and #4 are exacerbated with something like 3D glasses for something people tend to use in short bursts.

#2 it would take away from the immediacy of being able to use the system.  People complained a lot about the loading time for the Wii U, which is pretty much equivalent to doing this for the 3DS.  It just isn't very user-friendly.

#3 I was just throwing that one in to prove a point.

Exacerbated how? If the glasses are being used in short burst, then the 3DS also is.

I understand that people are lazy and impatient, but generally if you want something, you have to go get it. If you want 3D, put on the glasses, otherwise turn 3D off. It's not that complicated really.

What point was #3 trying to prove? Also I noticed you ignored my last paragraph. Why is that I wonder. :P

I don't feel like going into all the nitty gritty details for my points, I think if you think about it hard enough you'll understand.

I ignored your last paragraph because I didn't read it.  I'll reply to it now, since you seem so hung up about it.

If it would really cause one so many problems, simply leave the glasses at home, and turn the 3D off. (That's an insensitive remark that ignores a population of people) You couldn't have cared that much about the 3D if you're not willing to take some glasses with you. (fallacy remark) While I care about 3D, I care about being able to play more, so I've no choice but to leave the slider barely up just for that extra vibrance. (seems like a minor annoyance than anything) A much bigger inconvenience it is, having to get interrupted in the middle of a game I'd say. (just like when you're playing on your home console and someone comes in and needs your help or asks you a question?  Or you are trying to listen to the music on your 3DS and a train comes by and blows its whistle so loud you can't even hear your own voice?  There will always be interruptions at some point, and the only times there wont be, the glasses free 3D sweet spot shouldn't be much of a problem)

Happy?

Well you know what they say, don't say anything you're not willing to back up. ;)

Insensitive or not, is it not true that one could simply leave their glasses at home if they don't want to deal with them on the road? I think it is.

I too can call anything a fallacy, course that wouldn't do me any good since that alone is just baseless claim, even if it is or isn't true.

Having a game essentially interupt itself and having to be in a specific position is a bit more than a minor annoyance. So much so that I barely even use the 3D anymore, but I've said this a billion times already.

Of course there's always going to interuptions. That doesn't make them any less annoying or give them an excuse to happen. Two wrongs don't make a right. The game you're playing shouldn't screw itself up. Do you just shrug off any issue your games might have? Plus your examples aren't gonna happen as frequently nor do they mess up your view, unless the person is rude and jumps in your way. :L

And yes I am happy. These chicken tenders are so gewd! Thanks for asking!
