Glasses-free 3D far outshines 3D with glasses. I've got a bog standard 37" 1080p telly with no 3D capability but thanks to the 3DS I can not only watch official 3D films thanks to a converter that converts video files to the 3DS format but I can also convert 2D films into 3D using a different piece of software.

The only downside is that you can only see clips that are a maximum of 9m50s and you can't automatically start one clip after the previous one has finished...but it only takes a second to start the next one manually so it's not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

Just do a search for '3DS Video Converter' and you'll find the thread on GBATemp. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line the developer, NekuSoul, has made numerous changes during updates and has in the process broken the 3D conversion somewhere down the line. I downloaded version 2.0 ages ago and it works great as long as you convert 3D MKV files.

So basically for the price of a 3DS I can quite happily not only watch 3D films without a 3D telly, but I can also convert 2D films (using 4Media's 2D to 3D converter) into 3D films and watch them either at home or when out and about.

Hmm, that is pretty cool. I already have a 3D TV though so yeah. :L
