And added note - you're not going to see the means of success until you put your time in, that's how the system works. There's a saying that you don't really start earning money until you're 40. While I am ahead of that curve, its somewhat accurate. I've been at a plateau for about 6-7 years now, but finally broke through to a new level at a respectable payscale. Of course, I am aiming for higher, but it's progress in the right direction.
Unless you are lucky, you're going to make crap money in your 20s, barely scraping by with bills, etc, living paycheck to paycheck. If you keep learning and building your skills, you'll start making good money in your 30s. It all really depends on how much time you put into developing those skills. Remember all the nagging your parents did about your schoolwork? Turns out they were right - having the highest K/D in Black Ops ratio doesn't get you a good job, but actually building your knowledge and real world skillsets will.
