All of my gamer-friends have smart TVs and noone uses it because it is absoultey crap. Buy yourself one and test it yourself - it is of no use to most people. The interfaces are bad, apps are slow (Samsung has dual-cores by now in *TVs* to solve this issue) and the content is mostly nonsense if it's not the typical lovefilm-app, for example.

My friend just got like a 60 inch smart tv and before he got his PS3, he was using netflix on the TV just fine.

Read what I wrote: "and the content is mostly nonsense if it's not the typical lovefilm-app, for example."

Also, read this: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2413565,00.asp  and http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/12/internet-tv-sucks/

But anyway, Smart-TVs will never make the Xbox One useless.

You're right...they wont make the Xbox 360 useless if people want it for games, even casual ones. MS will definitely be showing those Kinect launch titles at E3. Their case for gamers is always so simple, but their fight for non-gamers continues and its barely even against Nintendo and Sony to be honest.
