45m this year would be almost 17.5m sales in 2013, which is more like the absolute max it will reach. 50m would be almost 22.5m.

Hmmm yes, you're right - I might have exaggerated the numbers. I was thinking that 3DS had sold 30m in like January or something like that. 17.5m units this year doesn't seem like that big of a stretch considering it's done like 15m/year up until now. It won't get over 20m this year. I HIGHLY doubt that - I'm no Tbone ;)
