Should I consider getting Sonic Generations for the 3DS when I already have the PS3 version?

Haven't played it, but it's a completly different game from the console versions. It's also completly 2D, the modern stages are supposed to be like Rush and the classic stages play lik Sonic 4, from what I've heard.
