I always use rechargeable batteries for my Wii remotes. Power-hungry devices drain their charge faster than regular alkalines, but for Wii remotes they're fine and they save you a lot of cash in the long run.
Wii remote battery packs are great as well though and I'll likely pick up a couple at some point.
Nice to see the WiiU premium model in white, finally.
