That "thing" had better be getting me to play Luigi's Mansion 2. I think it's going somewhat successfully! 
In honesty, though I have not thought about leaving (I'd just go rather than thinking about it), I joined because of the sales. And now the site almost seems to be split into "factions", which is not healthy. Heck, the Vita thread is effectively a cult, something numerous users actually admit to in the thread.
