This article is talking about cloud processing (like getting machines to work in tandem to process a task).

@OP. I agree with Ssenkhadavic. Until we see it in realtime, with a fallback mechanism that lowers the visual output if the internet goes down, would need to be demoed. I'm also not sure how much of the foreground would be rendered with this technology given internet latency.
I can see this being used in open worlds for very far objects, just given the latency I don't think this is very applicable for near-sight.
Also, can you guys shut up about "bullshit PR"? There may well be some application to cloud processing for gaming, it has yet to be seen so let's keep an open mind for now.
