What exactly is MS bringing to One at launch? Sony has Knack, Drive Club, inFamous and Killzone already announced with more ready for E3. Counting digital games, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony releases more than 15 exclusives in PS4's first year.

Knack looks amusing

Drive Club will be hurt by GT6 on PS3

inFamous and Kill zone both declined quite a bit in sales. Especially inFamous, I don't know why Sony wouldn't let those Studios make new IPs instead of pushing two that the market isn't responding to.

I don't doubt Sony will show more, but I haven't seen a winner yet.

As for MS, we know very little, except Forza 5 and Quantum Break. Forza is a guaranteed hit, and Quantum is from Remedy, so chances are it'll be amazing. Other than that we'll have to wait for E3, but if they do have many core AAA titles in the works, then I think there's a good chance they'll have the upper hand on Sony by a good margin.

Of course I could be wrong. Time will tell.

All Sony really has to show me is FF versus and I could care less what else they show anyway.

There is a method to Sony's madness here.

Killzone and Infamous are perfect "Show Piece" titles. They utilize the capabilities of the hardware for some really flashy and cool effects. Sony has used Killzone to demonstrate the power of the PS3. KZ2's graphics were un heard of for console at the time and then KZ3 stepped it up with 3D as well.

Infamous has the added benefit with being made with a non existant budget yet producing quite the experience for so little. Both games were recieved pretty well. I am also pretty sure Infamous was profitable. Most of any game's budget is allocated to Marketing, of which Sony gave almost none to this early/mid year release. They did also have that DLC spin off that sold really well. Not to mention the game later became available for free on PS+ which helps I think. Devs might get a cut of the money for every person that joins during the months using their game and it also means more people have at least tried it and know the series.

It is also better to use B teir games at launch rather than an A-lister. It perfectly budgets the idea of letting a relatively unknown game get better exposure as it isn't crowded by huge releases but you don't want to take the risk of your most costly games not selling a lot on the platform just yet(which is GT and Uncharted for Sony). The A Teams will come by Christmas Next year.
