Well either that or some of the Move games are simply bad.
Wonderbook received A LOT of advertising over the holidays.

Actually the Move is the most accurate device i've used out of the lot of them. The problem with it is I dont think Sony takes casual games seriously. They've been developing casual games since 2001 and compared to their competition for motion control and it seems like it doesnt matter to them. The Move games have the capacity to be more sophisticated than the Kinect and the Wii, because its both combined therefore realizing Sonys dream of a game thats attainable for casuals that plays like a core title. The problem is they dont treat their casual games very well.

I don't disagree, but I think they were too late to the party. If they had brought it out close to when the Wii came out, it might have sold really well. But they were so late, and Kinect was the new 'Wii' when it came out. But to me, and many other consumers, Move looks like an HD Wii. While Kinect, was new, daring, different and ‘sparkly.’
Now, Kinect 2.0, looks like it might solve many of the ordinals problems. I’m wondering if a new ‘Star Wars’(wishing) and “Disneyworld Adventures’(expecting) are in the works.

Yeah, Sony had been developing the Move since 2004, which was shown in the developer doc's they put out. They thought the concept of just camera gaming was too limited and pointless outside of simple recognition. Their game development needs to be spruced up and they need to reach outside of first party to make sure top games come to Kinect to make it more appealing. After that no one would be able to hang with them on that court. The Move will still be more powerful than the Kinect 2.0. Theres no need for them to revamp the Move controller. If Sony had Ryse, it would've been out long ago because the tech would've worked and proven Sonys theory that Camera alone tech isn't intuitive enough to work by itself. Ryse was pushed back for that reason because it was Microsofts only chance to prove to core camers that they werent lying to them that Kinect could be for the core. It's still a failure in that technical respect, but I loved the Kinect only for Dance Central, so I used to just call it the Dance Central box after a while. Microsofts woes are never marketingwise, I'll give them that for sure, I wish Sony had a shred of their marketing prowess. Then again, at the same time I wish MS made games on a developmental scale like Sony so its apples and oranges, really.
Kinect 2.0 won't solve many problems only a small portion of them that demanded a bit more power. Sony explain long ago why on a technical level camera gaming isnt credible for the type of games they wanted to make.

I think cameras will be fine, at some point. I'm not sure if Kinect 2.0 is at that level, but we shall see.
The people, PrimeSince, who made the 3D camera for Kinect were rejected by Sony and Apple, before coming to Microsoft. Microsoft had already been working on such things.
Some of my favorite unexpected things are the Fun Labs and Kinect Party stuff. You can set your couch on fire!
