Smash Bros on 3DS and Wii U was a terrible idea

Didn't Nintendo say that Super Smash Bros U is going to have online multiplayer between the 3DS and Wii U? How is that not the same game?

This is only recent, though I know they've said awhile ago they'll be able to play online against each other.  This right here just reiterates that statement.

"3DS/Wii U dual support is key for next Super Smash Bros."
