Smash Bros on 3DS and Wii U was a terrible idea

I agree it's a terrible idea if Nintendo wanted the Wii U to recover, but I'm starting to get the feeling Nintendo have given up on their home console and this is a way to maintain sales of one of their biggest franchises and get consumers used to buying smash on a portable system.
