Smash Bros on 3DS and Wii U was a terrible idea

They weren't the same game and weren't developped/released together.

like Lego and the sales of both are almost the same

that's the point. The Wii U needs an exclusive. Not split sales.

 

Let's be serious, only deranged people would buy lego city on both 3DS and Wii U. You don't buy the same game twice.

But Lego City Undercover and Lego City Undercover - The Chase Begins are not the same game. Neither do we have any kind of confirmation that SSBU and SSB3DS will be the same game. That's just what you assume.

Honestly though, I don't see what could be significantly different between the two versions. They'll definitely have the same core gameplay Smash Bros. has always had, along with the same single player n multiplayer modes among other things.
