-Under Construction-

June 11-13; 2013

Welcome to the Sony E3 Press Conference Thread.

As many of you know, this is going to be an extremely important conference for Sony, wherein we will learn (hopefully) more about the ps4, ps4 games slated for launch and first year, and more details. We will also be looking forward to upcoming Vita games and features, and we will likely hear all about how strong the brand has become over the past year, and get lots of neat graphs that don't really give any concrete numbers.

Here's my checklist of sorts for information we'd all like to know:

DRM on the ps4 - Does it exist?
Backwards Compatibility options - We heard once about a cell on a chip that could be sold at 99$ and planted into the ps4.
Cloud - How much does the new cloud feature cost?
Subscription - Is there a subscription fee similar to Live? (regarding simply playing games online)
PS+ - How will PS+ work with the new PS4?
Trophies - Will trophies carry over to PS4?
Console - Can we see it now?
Used Games - Will we be able to play used and secondary market games?
Imports - Will the ps4 be region free?
Regionality - One big problem this past gen was the concept of different content for different regions on PS Store. Can we just unify this?
PSEye3.0 - What's this whole camera thing about
Share - What kinds of software can we expect to interact with the Share function. Collages? Frames? Instagram type mods...
Move - No, thank you
Tablet - Yes, please, and along with army-based RTS games
Indie support - Let's see a montage of sorts...and hey how about some devs praising Sony and bashing MS and Ninty. That would be great.
Games - Games, games, games
Please do not let Capcom, or Squeenix present anything

Sony, this e3 needs to be all about the games. Tell us all about the console, yes, but at the end of the day, you need to deliver as many high profile big exclusive titles as you can muster. Your job this e3 is to show that yes, YOU are the core gaming console, not MS, and you can deliver just as much firepower as Nintendo's first party. Make it happen.
People watching the show do not care about fitness games, or move, or wonderbook. Show that stuff after in special conferences, not during the main event.

Square Enix should present something. Hopefully something that's a megaton like Final Fantasy 15 or Versus 13.
