The article says that real gamers, gamers who only play games regardless of corporate loyalty, will buy Xbox One if it has great exclusives.Gamers might not make X1 their #1 go-to console, but they will buy it if appealing exclusives come to it.

Not really a high horse. I do think they're right. The hardcore people will still buy the system despite all the missteps and gaffes they've managed in only 1-2 weeks (myself included).

The Wii U is the same way. I imagine it'll finish with most hardcore people picking one up after a few more games and a price drop.
