Well, first of all, there is more piracy on PC.

Then, well, most pcs are connected to the internet right now, and people don't see reason to have a pc without internet, so always on is less of a hassle.

And finally, the steam sales.

Oh, and pc gamers are rich.

So that some how makes it ok to think it's going to cuase damge on Xbox One?

It will probably cause damages to the whole industry, I think I already quoted this but :
