Well, the focus on games is better for you in a sense and not in another. The mainstream nature of the xbox one could bring it into the hands of more people. And also, we don't know what games are coming out for it (more at e3).
I know that we do know things about the PS4, but I believe Kowen's post was certainly a hyperbole since he has been following the threads and I'm pretty sure he's watched both unveils and knows that the specs are publicized.
