Pokemon black vs Pokemon black 2?

I am playing White 2 right now (just started). I enjoyed White more than any Pokemon since probably Sapphire but this one is already playing well and looking to be a nice experience. If I were you I'd go with BW2 instead of just Black/White if you're only going to play one - but unlike games like Crystal, Emeral, Platinum, etc. BW2 has a story set 2 years later than BW so if you do care about that then you'll want to play both.
