I get what you mean with DLC, but has Nintendo done that to anyone yet? I mean with their DLC I have not seen it to be so cheap (perhaps nsmb2's dlc is?

 

Depends on what you consider "cheap" DLC - typically $2.50 for a small level pack. However, there's no denying that SpotPass content, which comes at no additional cost, is awesome. Especially in the case of Fire Emblem.
