I find the retailers cut being only 10% very hard to swallow. This is way too low and retailers would be up in arms about it. I would suggest that if this rumour is true, then its more likely that MS and the publisher both get 10% of the total price for each game. They would then get a reasonable amount and the retailer is still happy enough not to make waves about it.
