It wouldn't effect me too much, since I usually get new games, anyway. I would be more picky with what games I get, though.
On a large scale, I would be very concerned about Nintendo's future, however.
After seeing the lash at Microsoft's Xbox One announcement, I doubt Nintendo would be dumb enough to go that route.
