It's to sell us stuff they put on adds and with kinect they can tell which adds make you fap, once they collect all the data about you, you'll see a lot more of fap inducing adds, that way they hope you will buy their shit. The xbawks one is just a big marketing tool

No, the reason why kinect is bundled is simple.

Kinect wasn't really being used by devs because not everyone had a kinect. They didn't want to spend time making a game that is enhanced by kinect in a good way and also make the game so it remains good without kinect. That's just messy and waste of money.

So now that kinect comes with every console, devs don't have to worry if you have a kinect or not. They can easily build games taking full advantage of it.

So this was an intelligent move by microsoft. Sony is doing the exact same thing with the PS Eye; bundling it with every console.
