How would they? it's not something they could just implement but i really hope this is just a phase like online passes. This second hand punishment put on us is only shooting themselves in the foot.
But to the answer the question, i wouldn't buy any new systems or games. I would finish with the 7th gen and that would be it. Buying the games on PC would still be agreeing to their traitorous assault on their loyal customers as second hand is almost non-existent on PC anyway
