Ps4 can't handle used games like it sounds like that MS will handle it. I suggest you just cross that outta the OP right now. Ps4 will not require online so how do you expect people without online to register their game to their account?

PS4 won't handle used games the same way as the One but EA seem to be supporting the ps4, which leads me to believe that they have something not necessarily bad but "satisfying" to EA. Since we don't know what it is, we can't assuming it's consumer friendly.

Additionally, I think Sony's true stance on the thing will be known once we find out what they want their first party to do.

I'm not saying that won't happen, as I'm pretty positive there will be some kind of policy to deal with the second hand games issue (less anti-consumer than with MS) but it's also far-fetched to say that Sony will have almost the same kind of DRM as MS because of EA support.

Maybe Nintendo said no to that and that's the reason why EA ditched its support, but EA's revenue is substantially bigger on Playstation platforms than Nintendo's, and I mean SUBSTANTIALLY. So it's possible that even if Sony would say no, EA would still have to support them.

Also note that before the xbone reveal, EA was definately closer in relationships with Sony than MS - Battlefield earlier DLCs, Playstation specific FIFA and NFS commercials. And now after MS adopted all this DRM, always online, etc. etc. stuff EA is their biggest partner.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!
