The retailers make money, the developers make money, you can still get used games cheaper than new. Sounds like a fairly reasonable deal to me.

Unless of course you're a game retailer like Game, Zavvi, CEX or HMV who have been using money gained from used game sales to keep afloat. 10% will very likely put these companies under and £35 is way too much for the majority of second hand games. This story has to be a load of old bollocks, those numbers can't be correct.

Well, the other way is to make things all digital and no reselling of games and not retailers.  Between that and this proposal.  I think it's better for the developers that they at least make some money off their games.

And this will still keep retailers in business.

I'm more annoyed that I can't play my Acrade X360 games on the new X1.  That doesn't seem right to me.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
