No, they are blinded by current sales numbers. Maybe things will change when Nintendo finally grace the console with some big games, but until then it is completely understandable why WiiU is a non-factor for many. Was Knack about graphics? The Witness? Media Molecule's experiment? The focus of Sony's meeting was to explain what they were doing better than they did previously, that's why it was so focused on developers and "graphics". |
E3 can not come any faster ;)
Yeah ok you know you are right with these games! But my whole point is that everyone is going apeshit about the PS4 and partially the XBone. This is a big issue because the entire attention of the crowd goes to talking specs and graphics! Everyone is giving waaaay too much attention to the actual specs of these consoles which irritates me because games like Killzone i.e. aren't that much different than previous installments in the franchise. But everybody make it out to be such a huge step.
I'm sure you're getting my point here. I'm sick and tired of these people because at the end of the day its not important how powerful you console is but the quality of the games.
At the XBone reveal I didn't see games with quality (I know they want to show them at E3 but knowing Microsoft these "15 exclusives" won't be impressive IMO)
Granted Sony did show some games which were interesting to know more about them.
The biggest problem is the community only looking at graphics, sales and power rather than the important stuff like gameplays, variety or non-shooting-games ;)
