I just don't see why games would boom to 50GB in size. I play quite a lot of PC games and most aren't bigger than 10GB and those that are, aren't anywhere near to 50GB. Pretty much all could be done on 2 DVDs. All the reports of 50GB PS3 games were beause of lazy compression and because they put the content in multiple places on the disc to improve load times (I think, not sure how accurate this is), but the latter won't be a problem as they have quicker drives now
I suppose the one thing is that I THINK that you can play as it installs, so that might just be easier
I guess it doesn't matter, it won't be a huge cost and could come in handy towards the end of the generation.
