Sloppy = Bad

I already mentioned the tracks.  There were some good ones, but it is tied with MK64 for the lowest track count in the franchise.  That is not good.

So it's bad because you say it's bad. What about all those that say it's good because it's good hmm? That is why such comments are fruitless, as there is no set rule as to what makes the controls good or bad, as explained a billion times already. Hence, anyone can say it's good or bad, as there's nothing to prove them wrong/right. So we can say subjective matters like that are meaningless to this debate no?

Now in contrast, your next paragraph is exactly what I'm looking for. MK:DD not having Retro tracks is a cold, hard, undisputeable fact. Those are what will determine which game is better. Please more of those people!

Do you really think you can find someone to say that not being able to control the kart is a good thing?  The other games in the franchise have all had much tighter controls.

Probably not, but I don't see what that has to do with anything since you most certainly can control your kart in MK:DD the same way you do in all MKs. Now you still haven't explained how it can be a fact that DD handles poorly when there are so many others who say they like the game's handling, infact you basically ignored my entire post all together. I wonder why that could be. :P
