It's much easier to infer relative performance between Xbone and PS4 than in previous gens because they both use identical CPU & GPU architectures. With this in mind we can directly compare relative system performance.

 

It is easier but by now we didn't see the whole picture of the systems. We don't consider what the fixed-function-units will really do as we have no further details about them, we don't know how, for example, if the shape-chip of MS will free the cpu of getting rid of any audio-processing and we don't know which crucial parts the arm-chips will play, considering gaming-performance. If you have further info, feel free to point this issues out. The cpu-architecture is the same, the whole system-architecture isn't.
