I don't think Sony will do the "check every 24 hours" things (even MS will drop that I think if enough people complain), but I have the feeling Sony is going to be forced to adopt this same policy more or less as well.
If I'm Activision or Capcom or Rockstar or any big or even small publisher ... this is great for me. Finally we get a direct cut of second hand sales and retailers still get their cut too.
You bet your ass I'll insist Sony have to follow this model too.
Not so great for consumers unfortunately.
