No, when indie developers would piss and moan you could point at how MS supporting them more than Sony or Nintendo.

Indies even complain about Steam. That doesn't get much attention.

naw man, there were people using the whole indie thing in their fanboy war, now some of those same people are saying now its not important. 

In the grand scheme, the indie scene isn't very important. Even if some people boasted. They don't really make system selling games.

Anyhow, this news doesn't mean MS won't continue to publish indie games. They published many on the 360, you think they're gonna stop now?
