 Yes...it was. Steam and Blizzard are basically the two pillars of PC gaming.

PC gaming was never in danger. Don't know why you would think it was. Steam and Blizzard do make up a great part of PC gaming, but had they not been there others would have simply taken their place. There has been a lot of digital distributors around for many years. But we are derailing the thread with this talk.

PC gaming lost relevance to console gaming until Valve took the reigns and started promoting things. Without them PC would still be in a funk. Quite frankly Blizzard is just untouchable on PC.
