It's a by the numbers release doing everything Mario Kart has to do but not really standing out in any area and having no innovation. There's absolutely nothing about Mario Kart 7 that makes it worth of recommendation other than... well it's sommet to play on your 3DS that had a decent frame rate. |
So once more we're going back to the whole "X is the best cause I say so!" thing. Hoorays...
Yet again, I ask what basis are you guys making these claims on in terms of best tracks, musics, karts, controls, etc? Also as another user said, MK7 does run at 60fps. That explains why I've been finding it so buttery smooth hehe.
Your personal biz against the game hasn't really anything to do with how good or bad it is, since again, one can find problems with any game, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, just that particular person doesn't like it. In your case specifically, it seems you don't favor it much because it doesn't do enough differently from it's predecessors. That's perfectly fine of course, but remember different =/= better all the time. Are RPGs better than FPSs simply because they're not FPSs? And there's plenty of reasons to pick up MK7 as there is for any MK game (since they're all pretty similar), only more so here.
