Sorry but no. You don't change it after such a long time, especially when it was never obvious which one is 'correct'. Also, I'd really like him to try to change the way people talk just because he thinks he's right. Hint: Not going to succeed. And then there's the fact that in my language (Finnish) the word's pronunciation's isn't too bad and it just happens to be the 'incorrect' one... Well, let's just say that there's no changing that.
