Essentially Xbox live membership per console, so you, your brother, your sister can all create accounts and use this console with your individual accounts while paying only 1 subscription.

Well if that is the case then I am a bit more optimistic. I understood the statement as having a family gold subscription that only is a subscription and nothing more
