Mainstream Media loves the Xbox One - Are "hardcore" gamers becoming irrelevant?

Microsoft taking cues from Nintendo and siding with them in the vision of being the multi-connected system is making the dedicated gamer more and more irrelevant for the better. Their given importance in the industry was disproportionate with their intrinsic important in the industry imho.
