Gamestore uses new system to put another code on it and that system will give some money to devs depending how old the game is. In the end used games will rise like 5 euros or so in price. This isn't really so bad |
Wouldn't work. You need to know that the orginal code, there is a disc code burnt onto each and every single game, isn't being used anymore. And really is one heck of a convuluted mess anyway you cut it, for anything they do. My guess is if they go this route they give the power to gamestop to put the game into a machine and the machine will forcibly remove the game from the account it is bound to using the on disc code. Then gamestop is free to sell the game at full price again, and the old player will only get a pitance back from the returned game.
So this discs will be treated as nothing more then those prepaid cards people use to add funds to their accounts.
