What're your least favourite gym leaders to battle?

Although she was much harder on Yellow (her level 50 Alakazam is way too OP), she wasn't that hard if you had a faster, more physical oriented pokemon like Arcanine and Persian (Persian especially, since the critical glitch would cause almost all attacks from it to be a Critical). 

Fearow with STAB Return on Whitney? That's massive grinding XD.

I didn't have a faster pokemon, but I used Golem to OHKO her Alakazam with Earthquake. That was in Pokemon blue, though.

 

Fearow evolves at lv 20 and a nice lady in the same town gives you Return for free... XD

My pokemon were a bit overleveled because I wasn't using a full party yet, but I didn't grind at all, they were probably around lv 22-25 or so.

Sadly, Golem was out of my reach back when I played RBY. No friends with link cables :/. 

Whenever I reached Whitney, my party usually is around 16 - 17 (full party) and that's with a bit of grinding in order to get some decent levels to tackle Bugsy's Scyther (damn bug is fast and hits hard). Since I always carried a Geodude around, that was my fallback for Whitney most of the times, but even so, Miltank's Rollout could OHKO it if it got lucky.

I choosed Cyndaquil, so Bugsy wasn't too hard.

I had nobody to trade in GSC, hence the no full party by then (no Gengar, no Machamp, no Golem). I think I had the starter, a Fearow, a Bellsprout and maybe a ...Psyduck? (I'm not sure about this one) in his gym.

I'm a Totodile guy, never have picked any other starter on Gen II and on Heart Gold/Soul Silver .

My base team on G/S/C and HG/SS is usually Totodile, Gastly, Geodude, Zubat, Mareep and Goldenrod's Dratini and 5 out of 6 of those are usually useless against Miltank unless massive grinding is done before.
