I was meh at first, and now I feel really sour.

I mean all they did was show a boat hitting a bridge (Quandum Break), show a pre-rendered video of two McLarens driving (which tells us nothing about how good the game will look), show us how fast X-Box turns on from sleep mode, and how we can tell it to switch menu's instead of pressing a single button....and that's about it.

After the fact, I now know about a used game fee, and an online connection every 24 hours to play games...so I'm pretty thrown off.

Because MS abandoned the 360 after 2010, and my 360's poor reliability (on #4), I decided to get a PS4/Wii U this upcoming gen, and an XB late. However I can't buy a new 2014 game in 2019, so this "used game charge" will set my XB One purchase back even furthur.

I now understand the extreme fanboyism for Sony. They might not always be the best (especially 2006-2008), but they are ALWAYS consitantly good. You can't go wrong with a Playstation, or really a Nintendo for that matter, but on consoles Nintendo does need more games (GCN, Wii and Wii U are all pretty weak in terms of # of games).

Alright, who hacked Michael-5? Come out you coward!?

(This post does not sound like something you would hear from Michael-5 ;( - fricken women).

Also "MS abandoned Xbox360 after 2010" - I think you mean Nintendo and the Wii.

Why does this not sound like me?

Yes Nintendo did abandon the Wii post 2010, but I bought my Wii in 2010, and I've been pleasently surprised about what released after I bought it. I wasn't aware of XenoBlade when I bought my Wii, and Donkey Kong Country was amazing. Plus Skyward Sword is a true gem.

So I didn't feel burnt by Nintendo, but I did feel Microsoft burnt me when they started to "milk" franchises. Halo 4's villian feel un-natural to me, re-introducing the forrunners felt like the most random thing to happen in the series, and they are nothing like I expected them to be after Halo 1-3. Forza Motorsport 4 felt like a step back IMO because no longer are we racing well thought out races, using stock cars. We are racing cars modified to artificial performance indexes, with free upgrades.... Gears is okay, but after the ending in 3, I feel like I'm done with that series. It ended, well, but it ended.

P.S. I still think most Sony fanboys are jerks....maybe I can set a good example.
