I don't think that BC is a huge issue toward the end of a gen, but early gen I believe its very critical in persuading  consumers to jump to the next generation.

 

How much they use BC is a different story, but it is probably one of the best selling tools to transition people into the next generation.

meh, it's a pretty big deal to me considering I've got a fairly large number of xbox360 games and a lot of games on demand games but still I think after my last dealing with MS in terms of customer support it will literally be just that.
