That patent idea looks AWFUL, I don't know that anyone would actually want to use that.

And no, the N64 and Gamecube didn't have any sort of "light guns" at all. The NES and SNES had them, and to be fair, the "Wii Zapper" was just a plastic shell holding a Wiimote and Nunchuck. Not exactly a real peripheral, and I'm not really sure just how much money Nintendo ever really made off of it. Pointing a Wiimote at a screen, just holding it in your hand, to me, worked far better than that damn "Zapper" did any day.
