Wow. I can't believe no one corrected you. She started out in Formula 1. She wasn't the first female driver there either.

but there were already some test drivers (as example de villota who almost died not long ago) and i believe a few had even some races in formula 1 but that's very long ago.

She didn't.... she raced IndyCar NOT F1 from 2005-2011 and now is in NASCAR
