The DS came out 7 years earlier. And it had Pokémon 4th gen much earlier in its life spam. Pokémon 7th Gen won't come out until around the 31st month.

And they are lowering the price of 3D movies to have an excuse to increase the price of 2D movie tickets. Plus more & more people keep getting 3D TVs and Vudu and other streaming services keep adding 3D streaming library of 3D movies which gives theaters all the more reason to even the price between 3D & 2D movies while finally being able to increase the price of 2D movies further, without good enough outrage from the public.

And even though they are still buying more 2D TVs then 3D TVs, you forget that 2D TVs sales have plummet while 3D TVs sales keep going up & up, so clearly 2D TVs are going the way of the dinosaurs, but a slow painful death version.

And 3rd parties are not making games for the Wii because of the Wii U shown at E3 2011 which has been out since 2012.

Batman had continue to show that it can make a profit with less quality and at if someone can make a high quality batman movie, that that would ensure a profit no matter what.

Spider-man was bigger with 3 then any of the previous 2, and there was no need for a reboot nor make anymore installments when they left the movie with such a big way to finish with Spider-Man 3.

About the Mario bros. movie 2, they have been filming in Georgia, and there was a casting call even earlier during previous year. A lot of movies get filmed in Georgia and this just happens to be one of many movies filmed in Georgia.

And you clearly miss my point about RE6 & FF13 vs. KH3D & RE:R.

And Nintendo said that the 3DS sold more in its first 12 months then GameBoy Advance, so I'll take what they say over what you say anytime.

Why didn't you say the same thing regarding the PS2/HD consoles?  For some reason it didn't matter that it came out much earlier there.

In the US Pokemon didn't come out until the 30th month, so it hasn't actually factored in yet for that chart of US handheld sales.  1 month is hardly much earlier.

Why would they care about raising 2D movie prices?  The way you post, 3D movies are apparently going to dominate the market.  So why would they sacrifice 3D revenue?  Why would there be outrage about raising the price of a format that people supposedly don't care about?  If 3D has so much value to the general public, why would they price it the same as 2D?  Apparently they don't see added value in 3D.  It would be like pricing a Tesla Model S the same as a Honda Civic the way you talk about 3D.

The fact of the matter is when a consumer goes to buy a TV they are more likely to walk out with a 2DTV than a 3D one.  That doesn't gel with your 3D proselytizing.

Those third parties (and Nintendo really) had given up on the Wii before the Wii U came out.  Though I don't see how that supports your argument that all the 3DS games would be on Vita/consoles if not for 3D.

Superman Returns grossed more Worldwide than Hulk 2003 and Batman and Robin (and Begins for that matter).  Why would it be so much riskier than those?  Why would they not make more installments of Spider-man?  Hollywood milks the hell out of everything, and you are suggesting they would never make another Spider-man movie if not for 3D.

The only info I seemed to find for a SMB movie being filmed in Georgia was some random blog post from a year ago.  They also said it would be releasing this summer.

Let's go back to your initial quote about FFXIII and RE6.

"The 3DS gets all the 3rd Party support and also all the 1st Party support. The only thing HD has got is Resident Evil 6 & Final Fantasy 13, I would rather play such new games as Kingdom Hearts 3D & Resident Evil Revelations."

According to you the 3DS has all the third party support because of two games while the HD consoles only have RE6 and FFXIII.  What exactly was your point?

Where exactly did Nintendo say that the 3DS outsold the GBA after 12 months?  Because they'd be wrong.  Or the more likely scenario is that you're making things up again.  Or possibly taking data for a specific country or region and using them as a general fact.  After less than 10 months in NA/EU, and about 12 months+10 days in Japan, the GBA was at 17.09 million shipped.  After the same time period per region, the 3DS was at 16.23 million.  Even adding an additional 3 months to the NA/EU 3DS numbers only brings it to 17.13 million.  So unless you think the GBA did less than 40k in NA/EU back in Apr-June 2002, then it wasn't ahead of the GBA.  (the GBA shipped 4.71 million outside of Japan from Apr-Sept 2002)  Even if it were true, how does "3DS outsells GBA after 12 months" turn into "3DS outsells GBA and DS after 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, etc months"?
