Actually the 3DS has sold more in its first 1 month then the first 1 month sales of the DS & first 1 month sales of the GameBoy Advance.

And same goes for first 3 months comparison.

And first 6 months

First 12 months

18 months

24 months

You get the idea.

And the 3DS has 1 less holiday in the same point of life spam. Well it's half a holiday less then the DS had during the same point of life spam.

We've been over this before.  Stop making up numbers.  Whether we are talking about US or worldwide, the 3DS is not above both the GBA and DS for every one of those time frames.  The GBA was performing better in the early time frame, and by now the DS has pulled ahead.

US sales

From what I've seen from this member in this thread, he seems to like to make blanket statements and pass them off as fact, without anything to actually back them up.  Have to make a note to avoid him in the future.  Unless he changes, of course.

Going by your chart, he seems to be right when talking about the 3DS to DS, at least.  Of course, when you stop at 24 months, you leave out that the DS sales started to really explode around the 25th month.  This doesn't seem likely to happen to the 3DS any time soon.  In fact, it seems it will follow the PSP's sales line, albiet slightly higher. In the end, I think the PSP will most likely match, or slightly beat, the GBA's sales of 81.5M.  So, the 3DS will most likley settle at 90M-100M.
