My first comment was my point, Sony Computer Entertainment is just a publisher they don't make the games just market them.

Sony became a developer the second they created internal development. SCE is a developer as well as a publisher and there are branches therin. This is not an argument really.

God of War, MLB the Show, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Gran Turismo, Mod Nation Racers, Singstar, Eyetoy development team and more. Uncharted would've never existed without Sonys direction upon Naughty Dog unless you like Lord of the Rings games. When Lost Boys got purchased by Sony they were restructered and had their name changed to Guerilla games, signifying that they focus on what genre? You guessed it! Shooters!

Fair enough. But My opinion still stands on the fact that they have a good eye on picking up good devs with a few internally developed studio's like Sony Santa Monica.

Sony finds developers who share their vision of gaming. Look up any Sony internal studio video, most of the devs that they buy have a very artistic, cinematic and epic way of seeing game development, which i why it only makes sense. Sonys development pattern for teenagers mirror that of pixar.
