Nintendo have more than one billion dollars in their vaults. 

I believe i read that Nintendo has 8 billion in the bank. So yeah... if they wanted they could buy SEGA or Take two.

I dont think they want to though. Thats why they went with a partnership instead of buying. Even though they have the money, they would have to justify the purchase in terms of revenue.
