The only reason why there is a new Superman movie after Superman Returns destroyed the movie franchise for superman is because of 3D. The only reason why there is a new installment of Sin City & Percy Jackson is because of 3D. The only reason why the finish script to Jurassic Park 4 is being made into a movie after the script was perfected 5 or so years ago is because of 3D. The only reason why there's Indepndence 2 & 3 after the script was finish many years ago is because of 3D. the only reason why both the Fantastic Four & DareDevil is getting rebooted is because of 3D. The only reason why there is another Great Gatsby movie base off the same book as the previous Great Gatsby Movie is because of 3D. |

The Vita isn't getting support because PSP software sales were mediocre and the Vita hardware sales have been awful. Where exactly has "Koonami" said that the only reason they put games on the 3DS was because of 3D? Considering Mirror of Fate sold terribly, I'm not sure it is your best argument. Also why are publishers still putting out tons of games on the HD consoles when you said "no one has ever cared about HD". Since you seem to think that the existence of 3D games and movies means people love 3D, then surely the thousands of HD movies and games means people love HD even more.
There were reboots and sequels galore before studios started cramming 3D into as much as they could. Just because a new movie comes out in 3D doesn't mean that is the only reason it exists. The super hero movies are getting rebooted because superhero movies have been making tons of money. Including ones like Batman that weren't in 3D.
