We're talking about a company here, not some playground bully. There actions are motivated by money, a tale as old as time, not by some bizarre emotional conspiracy which has literally no evidence whatsoever.
EA wants to make money. If the Wii U was going to make them money, they wouldn't turn it down. It's as simple as that.
