I honestly think you are a stealth troll, claiming to be a Nintendo fan but is actually Wander.

Hm....

I'd wager I know more about Nintendo and have been playing Nintendo games since many posters on this site were just in their diapers.

I'm part of the original NES generation and have owned every Nintendo platform from the 1980s onwards except the Virtual Boy, which I probably will eventually get around to buying for collectible purposes.

I'm not a fan of the current leadership (Iwata, Miyamoto, Reggie, etc.) of Nintendo though and I'll freely admit that. I think their poor decision making in the last 3-4 years has hurt the company very badly.

I'll take that challenge.  I'm part of the Atari 2600 generation and have owned every single Nintendo system released in the US including the Virtual Boy.  Every one of them were bought new when first released.  When the NES first came out, I purchased the deluxe set with ROB and every week when my girlfriend (at the time) got paid, she would go out and buy mew a new game for it.  My best Nintendo collection was for the Gamecube as I had over 320 games (all complete) before I sold it off.  I also had an awesome Dreamcast collection with over 210 games (all complete) for that.

As for Nintendo leadership, it real easy for people to be armchair CEO's, it's not as easy to be the real one.  While I don't agree with everything they've done (the 3DS and Wii U launches could have been far better), the company has been extremely successful.  Of the big three, they've made by far the most money in the gaming industry.

So, did you get to witness the famous 1983 crash (if you live in the U.S.)?
